Learning to love your own body, regardless of size, is a process with ups and downs throughout one's which can be physical, emotional, and/or spiritual. It doesn't take an advanced degree in Women Studies to see that society's obsession with a specific kind of beauty and thinness can leave individuals feeling uncomfortable with themselves. Luckily the internet provides a community to combat the influences of society. Size Positive Radio and Size Positive TV are two avenues fat-positive activists are using to promote the notion of health at every size and celebrating the differences between us all. Check them out!
