About Face

This website needs way more recognition! Not only did it expose all of the "you have to be thinner" advertisers, it also showed how women are advertised as sexual objects, such as rewards for men succeeding in life. It is too bad that there were not as many positive advertisements for women as there were negative ones, but there are a lot more out there than I realized. I was also unaware that PETA was so aweful towards humans. I was outraged to see that so many of their ads depicted woman as objects with less value than animals.

    I think the comment you made about PETA was very interesting. For an organization who prides themselves on the rights of the lesser, they should give some respect for humans. I think it is very interesting.
