Adios Barbie: Tyra Banks
I really liked this article about Tyra Banks and the things she does to try and make a positive world for people who are not like models. I think the best part about this article was the fact that it showcased Tyra and her honesty with the people who are fans of hers. I really like her because she is not afraid to put her foot down and say that she is happy being the weight and size she is, even if the media doesn't agree with it. I think that if there were more celebrities like her that would speak out against the media and all of the negative messages that are sent out, then maybe there would be an impact on the people who admire those celebrities so much. I like Tyra and how she has made it a personal goal of hers to reach out to women who are struggling with their size or weight. She is definitely started a trend that I think more people should follow.

I have to agree! I think Tyra is a great roll model for all women and I wish that more people would take a stand on the pressures of body image like she does.
