Shakesville?

this was the the site i chose on the right hand side. It is a feminist bogging site but reading through the main page blog it looks as though only one girl every blogs on this site which seems kind of pointless but i guess if alot of people read the little comments then its worthwhile. The site seems fairly unorganized. def not a fav of mine.

    This is a great site, for it shows personal growth and the committment to one's personal growth, even if no one contributes....
    Her mission: Shakesville's key objectives are equality, momentum, growth, community, empathy, and laughter, is a great one, but hopefully others will hop on it to provide more inspiration.... there was quite a disturbing set of images on her blog though that I really don't understand or agree with, so I'll try and blog her... it is a set of images regarding a women and the perfume she is wearing... the title says "Killing Women Is Totally Hot. And Cute!" This is the shit that I hate about the media... these photos scream, violence to women is o.k., and IT'S NOT!!!! even for the selling/marketing of perfume... errrrggggg... but sincerely the blog is great :) and hopefully her response will be too :)

    I'm not a fan of blogs with just one person's point of view because that isn't how everyone would feel but the website does have a strong message.
