Damaged Goods
This article is a very controversial one; while as my personal belief system do not believe in pro choice, if a woman does decide to have an abortion she in no way deserves to be criticized and blown up at. I do know how it is to have guys be against abortion, but if it were me who got pregnant they would strongly support it. That is so awful; especially since women are not able to talk about personal body issues like abortion but men can say anything they want about their bodies.

Abortion is always a touchy topic...people have such strong opinions about it that it can sometimes overshadow the person actually experiencing the situation. I think that the double standard you talk about here is very evident, and should not be tolerated.
ReplyDeleteif you believe that a person has a right to chose what happens to them and their body then you are pro-choice.... despite how you personally would deal with a situation. Your point about how men are able to make certain statements and women are not is so true. It is terrible that we live in a culture that prohibits women to be open about who they are.
ReplyDeleteI agree, I find it unfortunate that men are allowed to be open but women are required to be slient.
