Rotund

I found this website interesting, i wound up under the tab "diary of a fat teenager" and then clicked on lunch police. It talked about how other countries are going through drastic measures to stop and prevent the obesity epidemic. They talked about how now in Japan there is a national law that they have to measure the size of your waste, and how in Australia they are considering a lunch police that can walk around and snatch up junk food from children who are eating poorly. Interesting topics.

  1. Wow, that's really interesting! Wouldn't that be aweful for it to be practically against the law to be obese!?

  2. I think the lunch police thing is a little overboard. This just seems like a total invasion of privacy...I would be totally pissed if someone came in and snatched my snackpack! :)

  3. I think the idea of "lunch police" is very interesting. I think parents/ guardians should be taught how to pack healthy food for their students. In my school I see so many students eating unhealthy things because it is all they have at home. If the "lunch police" took away unhealthy food, would they replace it?
