Too Fat for Fashion

This particular site is a blog for larger women. Like the title suggest it is focused on larger women and fashion. However, it is more geared towards promoting a positive image around larger women and that they too can love and be a part of a fashion world. I also read a couple stories that were posted on women’s struggles with weight; this blog also looks like a place where women can seek advice and council from other women.

    I guess I need to look more into this site, for I found the ruffles/ridges thing, not empowering... but putting "unflattering" as a high priority... but that's kind of the duality... should we love to look good, or not care... who are we doing it for, personal or outside eyes? But I feel that this blog is awesome and provides a great outlet :)

    I think this site was a great place for women to go for fashion inspiration, but I felt it focused a little too much on material aspects such as looks. isnt that what we are trying to get away from??
