Eating Disorders, Disordered Culture
I found this to be a very powerful website. Although it did not have very much information about eating disorders and prevention, there were many intense accounts of the results of eating disorders. Two stories that I found to be particularly disturbing were that of the woman during world war two who weighed 92lbs, then committed suicide after she felt she ate too much. The second story was about the thirteen year old girl who died of congestive heart failure and weighed 680lbs. I think every girl should read at least one story like this to see the aweful truth of what trying to be thin does to you.
