About Face

The first thing I love about this site is how bright it is! It's just so orange and happy. But mainly I love the topic. I'm a huge believer that what the media shows us, especially to girls, affects us immensely. A huge thing that I found to be disturbing was the section about high heeled shoes for babies. I can understand how it can be seen as a joke but I can also see how it's just another way to start girls out as being superficial at an earlier age; and that's never a good thing at any time.
