Adios Barbie!

I loved the appearance of this website. It definately targets teens, the most important targets for positive messages. This website is great for young teens but also endorses people that are not always the best role models. I was shocked about their article on Tyra banks. It began talking about how Tyra is a curvy model and does not change her body just her clothes. WHAT!!??!?!? Tyra is a beautiful women with an incredible body! Her body in no way represents the majority of young women. I understand that the point is that Tyra is bigger than some models and she is saying that she won't change, she likes her body. But the website is only giving young girls the thought "if Tyra is curvy then I must be huge." She is still a model ideal and not a reality.
